WINDY GAP 2014!!!

We just got to experience the Best Weekend of our Lives at Windy Gap in the BEAUTIFUL mountains of North Carolina! Nearly 30 students from GDS went and joined almost 300 kids from Greensboro Young Life! Page, Grimsley and GDS went this past weekend and got to experience some of the most fun ever! We heard from Tom Johnson about who Jesus is and what He did for us. We learned about what that means for our lives. We had real conversations with each other without the distractions of our world. Finally, we got to simply let loose, laugh A LOT and create life-long memories. 

We can't wait to spend a week in Colorado this upcoming summer! (sometime in late June. We will know exact dates in November)

FIRST CLUB!!!

We had a great time singing songs, playing games (like baby, bunk bed, back pack, and panty hose tennis ball), and listening to Kevin talk about God and his creation. Just like Kevin spoke on, we were all created "with a purpose, for a purpose"! We look around the beauty of creation and God said "it is good". The crazy part is that when God looks at you and me, He says "it is VERY good"! That is amazing! We are all uniquely different and created by the Grand Designer of the universe!

FIRST GDS YL CLUB OF THE YEAR!!!!

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO GET THE YEAR GOING! WE'RE BACK!!!!

This MONDAY, we will have our very first Young Life Club of the year! 

Who? All students grades 9 - 12 welcome 

What? 1st GDS Young Life Club of the semester  ! 

When? Monday, Sept 15th @ 7:47 PM (until about 9:00 PM)

Where? *New location*

Rental Works/Partymakers Rentals - 

510 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401 

(right down the street from First Presbyterian Church, on Elm Street between Fisher Ave and Smith Street)

PARKING: located in the Vanity Fair employee lot that has an entrance on Smith street - as you drive down Elm Street headed toward downtown, take a left onto Smith Street and parking lot is on your left
